Are We The Only Ones?
We recently got to visit a beautiful tribal location called Dinangat. What's even more beautiful than the breathtaking mountainous views is the fact that there is an established church there glorifying our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our team is looking at moving into a place that is about a 2 days hike away from Dinangat and has a completely different language. We are hoping and praying that we can have fellowship with the Dinangat church and that in the future these churches will be able to strengthen and encourage one another.
Bible studies
We are teaching our friends through a chronological Bible study. Please pray for God to help us communicate clearly and for him to be working in their hearts, drawing them to himself. These friends have spent so much time with us teaching us their language and culture and now we see it as such a privilege to teach them God’s Word.
Prayer and Praise
Praise the Lord for a great trip into Dinangat and time with the church there.
Pray that while we wait for adequate timing for a comprehensive survey into our desired area of allocation, that we use the time God has given us wisely.
Pray for our co-workers the Weavers who are back in the US for home assignment. We are eagerly awaiting their return and are praying that their family is refreshed during this time.
Please continue to pray over our time studying the word with our friends. Please pray specifically for Peter, Julie, and Josephine. Pray with us for their salvation and growth in the Lord.
Pray for the continued strengthening of our walks with the Lord as well as our marriage.
